We not only learn how to move our bodies in certain precise ways, but we also learn how to think , i.e., what to pay attention to, how to look at space, how to relate to our bodies and to other dancers’ bodies. In training and practice, dancers acquire a new and sharpened awareness of their own bodies and their place in space. It is the acquisition of these skills that later will allow us, on stage, to perform adroitly movements that will come out automatically, despite not being truly instinctive. En otoño empecé a tomar mi año sabático, por lo cual publiqué muchas  menos cosas este año que en años recientes. Esto se debe a que he dedicado mucho del año en preparar un libro de introducción a la ontología  que espero tener terminado al final de mi sabático.   Aun así, publiqué un artículo de investigación y un capítulo de libro. El primero de ellos, “Conciliatory Strategies in Philosophy” es el resultado de reflexiones de varios años y me da mucho gusto por fin verlo impreso y en una revista del prestigio de Philosophical Compass la cual ocupa el séptimo lugar entre las publicaciones de filosofía de mayor impacto a nivel mundial según Google Scholar  con un h-5 index de 28, un h-index de 30 y un SJR (SCImago Journal Rank) de 0.973.  En el segundo, “How to visually represent structure” continúo desarrollando mi línea de investigación en representación visual.  En el rubro de publicaciones, este año también vio la luz el libro “Complejidad y Ambigüedad” de la Dra. Maite Ezcurdia ,
